Purpose: In yearbook class, you will be asked to demonstrate a variety of skills in creativity, computation, and communication. In this project, you will show your skills in those areas.
Task: Create a unique (different from others in the room) thematic “Yearbooks are on sale” poster for the hallway.  Use some variation on our theme -

Develop a catchy theme.
Use a photo that captures the spirit of your theme.  One poster can be an abstract photo, the other must be a PHOTO or PHOTOS of students.
Using Google Slides or Google Docs or CANVA create a printable poster 8.5 X 11 that incorporates the theme and the photo. 
Smart and tasteful use of color and font
Include the price of the book = $40 preorder and the date to buy = February 1st.  $50 after... 
Include the attached QR code
Tell interested buyers to see Mr. Wiley to purchase their book or access the QR code
Other notes:
You may work in pairs (two people) or alone. 
You must post your project to Google Classroom

WHSSPA Convention - Application to Attend Essay (REQUIRED, EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT ATTENDING)

On Sunday, November 6 and Monday, November 7, you have an opportunity to attend the WHSSPA Convention in Laramie!

In order to attend, you must CONVINCE ME that you should be able to attend in this essay assignment.

Directions:
Look over the calendar of events.
Consider your audience.
Write a three paragraph essay (a minimum of 600 words) explaining why I should allow you to attend the convention.  Tell me which breakouts you would be most excited to attend.  Tell me what about Laramie and UW sounds fun and interesting to you.  Explain how you would use what you learn to help the Yearbook Team this year.  Let me know if you have any dietary or health needs.  Tell me if there is anything I should know about rooming arrangements.

Remember to use the various rules of photography discussed in class yesterday! Be sure to share equal time taking photos with your partner!  EACH PERSON SHOULD HAVE THEIR OWN PHOTOS.  When we return from our walk, you will submit your (10) photos on the Google assignment in a GOOGLE SLIDES PRESENTATION.  LABEL your photos in your slideshow with the category you are demonstrating above.  Partners may submit on one Google account, but be sure you label your photos with both names... and you must have 10 Photos each.  So, a partner slideshow will have 20 photos.
